Teresa Iaria
Front Office Coordinator
Hi, I’m Teresa, receptionist and front-end coordinator. My team calls me “T”. I’m a local: I grew up in Leederville (the next suburb), and I’m really happy to be back in North Perth after 27½ years away.
The best part of my day is greeting and meeting patients, and I love catching up on their news. I strive to assist patients in any way possible. I also like making coffee for those who would love one!
I work with an amazing team at Alma Dental. The dentists have such passionate, caring and modern views on Dentistry, and I’m proud to be a part of such an exciting dental practice.
Emily
Oral Health Therapist
Meet Emily, our oral health therapist.
Emily completed her Bachelor of Science (Oral Health Therapy) at Curtin University and has been an integral part of our team at Alma Dental Surgery.
She volunteers monthly with the Tzu Chi Foundation WA, working alongside general dentists and dental specialists to provide free dental care to disadvantaged members of the community. Outside of dentistry, she enjoys playing golf several times a week.
Raquel
Practice Coordinator/Team Leader
Hi there! I’m Raquel, and I’m super excited to be joining the team as the new Practice Manager. I’ve been in the dental world since 2009, and yes—I genuinely love it! Keeping things running smoothly, supporting the team, and making sure patients feel right at home is totally my thing.
I’m originally from Brazil (where the coffee is strong and the energy is high!), but I’ve been calling Australia home since 2018. After a great few years in Sydney, I’m now making the move to sunny Perth—and I can’t wait to get started.
When I’m not organizing all the things or answering a hundred questions a minute, you’ll probably find me in a yoga pose or horseback riding. I’m all about great conversations, team spirit, and maybe sneaking in a sweet treat or two.
Melody Jing He
Clinical Assistant
Hi, I’m Melody, a busy mum with two boys. I have been working as a dental assistant since 2016. Apart from providing excellent chair side assisting and infection control at the clinic, I also ensure patients get the best care and treatment by keeping them comfortable and well looked after.
I like working with our amazing dentists because they’re just so professional and passionate about what they do. Seeing patients leaving with their smile back is so rewarding.

Receptionist
Lynette brings 18 years of experience as a practice manager to her current role as receptionist at Alma Dental. Although she’s only been with us for six months, her friendly nature, professionalism, and extensive knowledge have already made her a valued member of our team.
In her spare time, Lynette enjoys swimming, walking, and curling up with a good book. She’s also a passionate foodie who loves exploring new dining spots and spending time with family
Dr Tanya
Dentist
Dr Tanya brings over 25 years of dental experience, having graduated from the University of Western Australia. She has practised in both the UK and Australia, and is deeply committed to ongoing professional development. Her passion for learning has led her to complete advanced education courses in the UK, USA, Italy, Colombia, and Australia.
For the past ten years, Dr Tanya has focused on cosmetic dentistry, where she finds great fulfilment in helping patients achieve confident, beautiful smiles. Her expertise, combined with her dedication to excellence, ensures each patient receives the highest standard of care.
Known for her warm and compassionate nature, Dr Tanya creates a welcoming and supportive environment for every patient. Her ability to connect with people, paired with her commitment to going above and beyond, allows her to deliver truly personalised dental care.
