A special visit from Dr Vincent Tsang
A familiar face returned to Alma Dental this week.
We were delighted to welcome back Dr Vincent Tsang, founder of Alma Dental and a much-loved dentist to generations of patients. After retiring from dentistry in 2014 and moving to Melbourne, Dr Vincent returned to the practice he established, reconnecting with familiar faces and the team that continues his work today.
Reconnecting with familiar patients
For many Alma Dental patients, Dr Vincent is more than a part of the practice’s history. He is the dentist who cared for them and their families over many years.
Many of those patients remain with Alma Dental today. Seeing Dr Vincent reconnect with familiar patients was a special reminder of the lasting relationships that can develop through years of dental care.
These connections form an important part of Alma Dental’s story. They reflect the continuity of care and sense of familiarity that many patients have experienced across different stages of their lives.
The beginnings of Alma Dental
Alma Dental has been part of the North Perth community since 1986, taking its name from the corner of Alma Road and Fitzgerald Street.
As its founder, Dr Vincent played an important role in establishing the practice and building the patient relationships that have continued over the decades.
His retirement in 2014 marked a new chapter for Alma Dental, with Dr Dee-Anna Luong taking over the practice. Since then, Alma Dental has continued to grow and evolve while maintaining its commitment to thoughtful, patient-centred dental care.
The practice has also developed its facilities, technology and range of services to meet the changing needs of its patients.
A lasting part of Alma Dental’s story
Dr Vincent’s return was a chance to reflect on how far Alma Dental has come and recognise the people who have shaped its history.
A dental practice is built on more than clinical care. It grows through the dedication of its team, the trust of its patients and the relationships formed over many years.
As Alma Dental’s founder, Dr Vincent remains an important part of that story. His visit brought together familiar faces, fond memories and a shared appreciation for the practice he established.
